Confession
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of God’s greatest gifts to His people but is often under utilized. Confession is a means of asking God for forgiveness and receiving His Grace to conquer sin. If its been a while since your last confession then no worries! At the Newman Center we have plenty of guides available and just let the priest know and he will help. Your can also check out this video for a step by step guide. You can now also check out Fr. Greg’s video on why Confess!
Confession is offered at the Newman Center:
Monday-Friday after Daily Mass at the Newman Center
Tuesday 4:30-5:15, Before Tuesday Night Mass
Saturday 4-5 at the Newman Center
Sunday 7-7:30 in the rear confessional at St. Stephens (before the 7:30 Mass)
Often during and after Sunday Student Masses (@ St. Stephen’s)
Any time by appointment with Fr. Greg. (feel free to stop by the Newman Center, email or, call him)
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is a practice where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed to be adored by the faithful. Even a few minutes of prayer before the Sacrament can be incredibly fruitful, so come by the chapel whenever you have time throughout the day! At the Newman Center, students have the opportunity to participate in Adoration at these times:
Every Wednesday from 12:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Every Monday, Tuesday and, Friday from 9 to 10 am.
1st Friday of every month 6-7pm
We suggest watching this video for more information on the practice of Eucharistic Adoration.
Prayer Team
Our prayer team comes together every Monday at 8:45 am to pray together as a community for our campus evangelization efforts and the human formation of all GW students
